in

Art and Voice

A total of $10,000 will be awarded in each category

Maximum scholarship of $5,000 per applicant

The Winston Art and Voice Scholarships, along with the National Career Awards, are competitions for monetary awards to assist young artists.  The Winston Art and Voice Scholarships are competitions which begin at the local chapter level with the winners in both the Art and Voice competitions going on to compete at the national level.  The competitions are adjudicated by locally and nationally known men and women in the arts.  Designed for artists between the ages of 16 and 22, they afford young people throughout the United States the opportunity to be heard and seen by professional critics, managers, producers, teachers, the media, and patrons of the arts.

The scholarship funds are only for private study, for special training, or for personal advancement in the applicant’s art medium.  They can be used for workshops, museum programs, summer programs, etc.  The funds are not for college tuition, housing, or travel.  Applicants must demonstrate exceptional talent and promise of future success.
